Problems using this site...a polite request

Utility Warehouse Independent Marketing Director, Jez TromansThere is no team of people operating this site and it's all maintained by just one person - me. I'm not paid by the Company to maintain the site and do so out of a genuine wish to help others with their own Utility Warehouse business. It takes a lot of effort and considerable personal expense.

Please therefore, do not contact me to stamp your feet over technical issues, for IT support or because you cannot access the site. It's not that I don't want to help...it's just that the sheer volume of emails and calls in relation to this site, could easily become a full-time (unpaid) job.

Please see below for some suggestions regarding common questions / problems.

Common problems / questions

Can't access the site / my password does not work

It's confusing...I know, but the site now requires two sets of username and password. When you first try to access the site, you will see a 'windows type' pop-up, requesting a username and password.

This extra security measure is to attempt to deter non Utility Warehouse Distributors from accessing the site. On the security pop-up window, it's vital that you read the text, as this will prompt you with two questions, such that you will know what the correct username and password is.

These questions and corresponding answers will change from time to time, so please check the text prompt if it suddenly seems that you can no longer gain access.

Successful log-in, but you keep getting prompted for your username

This can be caused if 'cookies' are not enabled on your PC. Please do not ask me for technical support on this! If this seems to be the case, please seek technical support from a 'local' IT person...perhaps a friend or family member who understands how cookies work.

Lost your MAIN username / password

Firstly...please keep a record of your personal username and password. Write them down somewhere and do not loose them.

With over 5,000 registered site users, it is very labour intensive for me to track down your details on the site. Data protection actually makes it even more difficult. Please don't just take the lazy option by emailing or calling me. I find that with a little digging around or lateral thinking...most people can remember their own details.

I get an average of 2 to 5 requests every day for people who have forgotten their log-in details. each one takes at least five minutes to resolve...that's nearly 30 minutes a day!

Online lost password recovery

A quick way to recover your password is online by clicking here. Please note however, that to use this link, you must first have answered the security questions, prompted via the security pop-up'.

To use this loss password service, you should at the very least be able to recall the 'Nickname' (username), that you set-up when you first registered to use the site.

Tried all that & still can't get on the site!

My suggestion would be that you register a brand new username and password, but to do this, you would also need to use a second email address.

Please try all of these things before contacting me.

Extranet username & password not working

This is a common one...where folk are trying to use their Extranet username and password to access this site. They are not the same! The Extranet is operated by the Company and your Extranet log-in details will not work here.

Tried everything & still having problems

In the first instance - seek support / advice from within your own upline team. Failing this, please contact me by email: jt [at] networkerplus.co.uk and I will do my best to help. If you have not heard from me within five working days, send a reminder. If you are in my personal downline / team, please call me direct...you should know my contact numbers.
